A welcome event each year is our “Chef’s Christmas Dinner” led by our very own Conseiller Culinaire Alessandro Haab and Chef Ekapan Buranakul together with the team from French restaurant Brasserie 9.

Surrounded by Christmas lights and a violinist playing in the background, our members and guests soaked up the atmosphere of the remodelled mansion dating from Siam’s momentous Rama V era. We began our evening wish fresh oysters, lamb tartare, pumpernickel “Swiss Alpin”, freshly roasted chestnuts which were paired with Glühwein and Champagne.

Three courses of seafood were followed by a unique red deer crêpe with girolles mushroom sauce. The Christmas spirit was present throughout the evening and in every course.

After dinner guest of honour Saint Nicholas came and talked about the spirit of Christmas which was followed by gifts for everyone.

The atmosphere was of happiness and joy as we finished another year of Chaîne activities. A year of creating memorable occasions that allowed members to bring their family and friends to experience gastronomic dinners in many unique ways.
