World Chaîne Day 2020 will be on Saturday April 25th, however events arranged on the evening of Friday 24th and during Sunday 26th can also be included under the WCD banner.

WCD spirit is one of celebration. No matter whether it is an organised large event or a small private reunion, keep the celebration going … and keep posting on social media!

Wear your ribbon
Ribbons are the best-known symbol of our Confrérie. Wear your ribbon on April 25th - especially if you are a working Professional member. Proudly show your membership … and keep posting on social media!

Photo Competition
As in recent years for 2020 there will be a Photo Competition. Best pictures in different categories will be selected. NB. See the separate instructions for this competition.

Social Media Wall
The Social Media Wall will be in use in the same way as last year.

Facebook is restricting the interface to outside operators. This means that the Facebook feed will not appear on the Social Media Wall. Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do about this. All the Facebook posts, shares and likes will naturally appear in Facebook pages and can be seen normally by friends and contacts you have.

All the posts made through Instagram and Twitter with hashtags will appear on the Social Media Wall. Links for the Wall will be provided on the official website one week before the WCD weekend.

WCD has dedicated official graphics. Their use is widely encouraged during the weekend.

Follow, post, like and share
Social media is the essential element of WCD. Be active, follow, post, like and share. This year the Social Media Wall will be available one week before the event. This is to raise awareness by providing the opportunity to show, post and follow preparations and expectations for WCD events.

And keep posting on social media!

Remember hashtags
Hashtags are still essential. Instagram and Twitter posts will appear on the Social Media Wall. But as mentioned above, Facebook posts are seen only in Facebook.
