World Chaîne Day 2020

April 25, 2020 - Photo Competition

Guidelines and rules
" release your creativity and astonish the Jury! "

It is essential that all photos are taken during a World Chaine Day event. The exact date this year is Saturday, April 25th. However, as we have different time zones, it is acknowledged that the photo can be taken at an event during that weekend, i.e. between Friday evening April 24th and all day Sunday 26th.

The photographer does not need to be a Chaîne member. Photos taken by a professional photographer during a World Chaîne Day event can be used nevertheless we want to encourage members and amateur photographers by favouring pictures taken by members.

Participation will be through photos posted on Instagram and/or Twitter. It is important to mark the pictures with at least one of these hashtags: #chaineday, #worldchaineday, #chainedesrotisseurs. This ensures pictures to appear to Social Media Wall and the Jury will be able to select potentially winning photos from the social media feed.

Unfortunately Facebook restrictions delimit accessibility for the Facebook material during the World Chaîne Day weekend. Facebook material will not appear on the Social Media Wall.

There is no need to especially send a note regarding photos for the competition. The Jury will go through all the material on the World Chaîne Day’s Social Media Wall.

NB. If you are not using social media you can still participate by e-mailing your photos to: [email protected]

Categories and awards for WCD 2020 will be:
- Best food photo
- Most joyful view
- Best Chaîne Professional(s) at work photo
- Best creative use of the Chaîne logo photo
- Best photo: Winner, Runner-up, Third Place

The best three photos and the winners in each category will be selected within four weeks after the event. The Jury will certify the origin of the winning photos before publishing the results and the winners will be contacted in person.
