World Chaîne Day 2020

April 25, 2020

Cooking with the family and sharing it globally
" keep active on social media .. We can make a global virtual connection despite COVID-19! "

Naturally, we have been thinking about the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on World Chaîne Day.

It is obviously essential to obey the instructions on gatherings issued by local and national authorities.

Clearly these considerations mean that our members can no longer get together to celebrate this year’s World Chaîne Day.

Coronavirus does not spread through social media. Therefore this is the ideal medium for participating in a global raising of the spirits by substituting gathering together with individual participation for World Chaîne Day under the banner:

So keep active on social media, it is even more important now. We can make a global virtual connection despite COVID-19!

The Social Media Wall will be activated a week in advance, i.e. on April 18th. It will be an excellent platform to share feelings around the world in the finest traditions of Chaîne camaraderie and solidarity.

Our approach therefore is that this year’s World Chaîne Day goes ahead, but of course we quite understand and respect that some members may not wish to celebrate anything in these difficult and uncertain times.

Take care. Stay safe.

Vive la Chaîne!
