" many families have found themselves in difficult situations "

“The best way to find yourself is to LOSE YOURSELF in the service of others” - Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948), Indian lawyer, anti-colonial nationalist and political ethicist.

During this devastating coronavirus pandemic many families have found themselves in difficult situations.

LUX* Resorts & Hotels
This is why the teams at the LUX* Le Morne, LUX* Belle-Mare, LUX* Grand-Gaube and Tamassa (a LUX* managed resort) took the initiative to help people who were in need in their localities by distributing dry products, milk and beverages through charitable organisations.

This same support was given to all colleagues who needed help. Those at LUX* Belle Mare were also offered fresh vegetables from the hotel’s “Aubergine Farm” as well as food from the hotel to help them through the current challenges.

Our friends also paid tribute to the medical staff - really courageous people - by offering them homemade cakes. Everyone who participated in providing the support joyfully made pâtisserie on Easter Day, a humble gesture to show our heroes how much they are appreciated.

SALT of Palmar
The SALT team took up the challenge of helping to stop the spread of the coronavirus by producing double-layer, homemade, reusable masks for locals and the police. An extraordinary initiative that will have a very significant impact!

"If you cannot do great things do small things in a great way." - Napoleon Hill (1883-1970), American self-help author

Everyone is so happy to see that these actions will help people for several days. They are impatient to continue to give their support and therefore contribute to the well-being of our society during this crisis.

Looking to a brighter future
Mauritius, our home, our love, and our pride and joy, is an undeniable, exotic beauty. It’s Indian, French, Creole, Chinese and African.

One of these days we would like you to experience all the wonders that our island country has to offer. When the current crisis is over, please do come and stay!
