Mexico World Chaîne Day

Bailliage of Mexico
April 25, 2020

Participation around the country
" Feel the spirit of global togetherness! "

Bailli Délégué Thierry Blouet wrote “I was very pleased to see the participation of our Bailliages around the country. It was clear that there was more motivation to take part than in other years! It was great to see the Chaîne friendship between the members making a virtual toast as they all connected. Naturally members want to be together in person as soon as it is safe to do so. This coronavirus situation has enhanced the traditional friendship, love and commitment for members worldwide. All being well it will not be long before we are back together sharing the pleasures of the table and Chaîne membership with great lunches, dinners and events!”

Thierry and his family had a Chaîne dinner at home to celebrate World Chaîne Day. After a Champagne toast Thierry sent a video message to all Chaîne members. He then put his outstanding skills as a Chef to good effect by cooking dinner.

Miriam Nunez, Vice-Échanson of Guadalajara, posted: “Happy World Chaîne Day! Today we will all be celebrating from our homes knowing that despite the distance we are united by camaraderie and love for gastronomy. Feel the spirit of global togetherness!”

Maître Hôtelier Francesco, a member of the Bailliage of Cancún, posted: “Vive la Chaine! As a good northerner I am celebrating this special day of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs with grilled beef, a tradition from my region. Namely, a maximum flavour certified Angus tomahawk steak cooked on the barbecue and accompanied by Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 from the Alexander Valley in Sonoma, USA. A wonderful combination!”
