Impressive evening for everyone

The Gala Induction Evening was held at the Fairmont Bab Al Bhar with 24 members and guests attending the event.

Champagne Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut was served at the welcoming reception together with much enjoyed canapés at the nearby Marcos New York.

On this occasion for the Induction Ceremony, Ian Fairservice, a Member of the Conseil Magistral and our own Bailli Délégué, inducted new members and promoted others in his capacity as the President’s appointed representative.

The intimate dinner was held at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill. The culinary teams of young chefs put together their dishes with skill and precision while the service team carefully and gracefully poured the wines and waited on table.

A customary water toast was held to the Rulers before the well-planned dinner was served.

It was an exciting gastronomic event ranging from the exquisite canapés to the “Slow cooked beef cheeks” finishing with the delicate, wonderful creation by Chef Pâtissier Rahul Bagel.

The evening started with Tasca d'Almerita Tenuta Regaleali Bianco after which we navigated our way to a Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Valle Reale and a Barolo Bussia Dardi le Rose DOCG. The vinous selection ended with a perfect Moscato D’Asti “Ca’ D’ Gal”.

From the well-orchestrated Induction Ceremony through to the reception and on to the intimate dinner, it certainly was an impressive, memorable evening for everyone.
