Chef, Doctor (PhD), Master Conductor
" American Culinary Federation's Chef Educator for 2020 "

Brilliantly orchestrating task flow in a kitchen or a classroom is a tall order. When your kitchen is a college classroom doing both simultaneously to educate the next generation of culinary professionals, a master conductor is needed. There are no shortcuts to authentically motivating students to learn. And no shortcuts to flawlessly executing exquisite culinary experiences.

Chef, Doctor (PhD), Master Conductor and now the American Culinary Federation’s Chef Educator for 2020, Jennifer Denlinger, Culinary Management Department Chair at Florida’s Valencia College, has been a Chaîne member for six years in the Bailliage of Orlando, where she lives. During that time she has been Chargée de Presse Provincial within the Bailliage Provincial of Southeast, albeit is now “Honoraire”.

Chef Denlinger, or Chef Jenn as her students call her, has 14 years of teaching experience, at Le Cordon Bleu and now at Valencia College plus as a chef at many restaurants at Disney World.

Bailli Délégué Bertrand de Boutray congratulated Chef Denlinger on her recognition by the American Culinary Federation (ACF) by saying, “It’s exciting to call the 2020 ACF Chef Educator of the Year one of our own. We look forward to our continued support of students studying hospitality arts and young culinary professionals as they commence their careers.”

Adding to the congratulations, Reimund Pitz, Conseiller Culinaire et des Professionels, said, “Jennifer is a model for all young chefs to follow.”
