Chef Alessandro Frau and his team delivered a special experience as always. In the newly upgraded restaurant in Kalim, 20 members and friends enjoyed great food and wine. The theme was long-time signature dishes from Acqua’s menus with wines chosen by Alessandro.

Hand-sliced yellow fin tuna carpaccio
marinated with fine extra virgin olive oil and lemon

The final course was very personal to Alessandro. He told us about his strong childhood memory of Italian ice-cream and how he had tried to recreate the same taste experimenting with different textures.

At the end of the evening we thanked Chef Alessandro and his team presenting a certificate to each employee who had been part of the success of this delicious dinner. Chef Alessandro then received a special Chaîne plate to hang in his restaurant.

The restaurant is the first of a series of restaurants designed by Alessandro Frau, as his culinary dedication doesn’t stop at cooking but also to project design restaurants and concepts.

Chef Alessandro was the Winner of “Iron Chef Thailand” on November 2013. In 2019 and 2020 Acqua was awarded with a “Michelin Plate” by the Michelin Guide Thailand.
