Slovenia Dinner

Bailliage of Slovenia
Kranjska Gora, June 2, 2017

Three countries represented on each plate
" anticipation and enthusiasm were well-matched by the welcome, hospitality, atmosphere and of course the excellent cuisine "

The Hotel-Restaurant Skipass in Kranjska Gora is owned by the Justin family. This event was our first visit to the establishment. All being well it will not be the last. Our anticipation and enthusiasm were well-matched by the welcome, hospitality, atmosphere and of course the excellent cuisine.

Young chef Mojmir Šiftar follows the theme of three countries (Italy, Austria and Slovenia) being represented in the dishes he prepares. Kranjska Gora is located near the border of all three of them. Our dinner was no exception in that the menu was designed for every plate to have ingredients from each of the three countries.
