The National Bailliage was splendidly inaugurated at an exquisite event in the Emerald Ballroom of Esplanade Zagreb Hotel. The experience of the Induction Ceremony and the superb gastronomic pleasures will rest in the memory of members and their guests for always.

The evening commenced with the Induction Ceremony presided over by Klaus Tritschler, Member of the Conseil d’Administration from Germany. In his capacity as Chair of the New Bailliage Development Committee, Klaus had been instrumental in bringing about Croatia becoming a Chaîne country.

At the ceremony, Klaus was supported by Bailli Délégué Dalibor Greganić as well as by Members of the Conseil Magistral visiting from Hungary and Slovenia, respectively Bailli Délégué Iván Novak and Bailli Délégué Tomaz Ravnikar.

After hearing their oath of allegiance to the Chaîne, the new members were donned with a ribbon according to their grade, were “sworded” by Mr Tritschler and then presented with a membership certificate.

Witnessing the inductions were guests of honour:
- Her Excellency Corinne Meunier, Ambassador of France to Croatia
- Frano Matusic, Croatia’s State Secretary for Tourism
- Mr Le Tallec, Trade Attaché at the French Embassy
- Ivana Juric, Director of the Tourist Board of Osijek and Baranja County

Bailli Délégué Greganić made everyone feel welcome with his greeting speech. In reply, Klaus Tritschler pointed out that he personally and the International HQ valued Croatia greatly as a new member of the Chaîne family.

Special appreciation was given to Slovenian members, Bailli Délégué Tomaz Ravnikar and Grand Officier Rok Kvaternik, who had encouraged and assisted the founding of the Chaîne in Croatia.

Concluding the evening, Klaus Tritschler presented Bailli Délégué Greganić with a silver salver acknowledging the success of founding the Bailliage of Croatia. A “thank you” plaque was also presented to Chargée de Presse Kora Tironi for her important secretarial work both during the formative months and since the formal inauguration.
