The 2019 International Final of the Jeunes Sommeliers Competition will be hosted in Seoul by the Bailliage of Korea on September 20th and 21st within a Grand Chapitre programme commencing on Thursday, September 19th.

Whilst boasting a spectacular skyline and sophisticated modern landscape, Seoul also keeps it history alive with its old royal palaces and other cultural properties. Its rich history of over 600 years never ceases to fascinate visitors.

The host hotel for the competition will be the Grand Hilton Seoul.

Wednesday 18th & Thursday 19th
Pre-competition events are to be confirmed.

Friday 20th
Semi-final of the Jeunes Sommeliers Competition to select the three competitors to go forward to the Final

Saturday 21st
Morning: Final of the Jeunes Sommeliers Competition to decide the 1-2-3 placings
Evening: Awards and Induction Ceremony - part of the Grand Chapitre of the Bailliage of Korea - to celebrate the Jeunes Sommeliers Competition and the culmination of the event

Sunday 22nd
Depart for home

Having received the approval of the International Board, the Competition Committee is delighted to be taking the 2019 International Final to Seoul. Bailli Délégué Bernhard Brender and his team are enthusiastically looking forward to welcoming everyone for what promises to be another outstanding occasion.
