As with all Bailliages across the world, planning for our signature events is contingent on restaurateurs and/or hoteliers being properly accepted into the Chaîne.

As we all know, our five original members from modern times, the men who re-instituted the association in 1950 under French law, took an oath which partially reads, “I promise I will always behave with respect and warmth towards my fellow members of the Chaîne in the knowledge that we all share the same ideas and principles.”

In the Bailliage of Vietnam, our philosophy is simple: we honour the craft of cuisine, the culture of the table and the hospitality arts. Our members respect their fellow members, our work and camaraderie are gifts from the heart. Visa update (as of August 2023)
For those interested in travelling to Vietnam to attend our events, please note that there are several websites that claim to sell visas but there is only one legitimate e-visa site. E-visas can be acquired for citizens of ALL countries at a cost of USD $25 for a single entry visa and USD $50 for a multiple entry visa which can last up to three months.
