Aims

The non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” shall collect personal data from the user for the following purposes:
- Managing the association’s membership
- Promoting the association and its professional members to the general public
- Connecting members with each other
- Managing international competitions 
- Producing anonymous statistics


The non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” undertakes only to collect the personal data provided by the user in the interests of the association and its purpose. When visiting this site, users are likely to provide a certain amount of personal data when they fill out forms. In this respect, users’ personal data is only intended for use by the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” and any of its subcontractors.

Users are notified that their personal data needs to be processed to allow the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” to supply services. This personal data shall be processed in accordance with the current version of the data protection and freedom of information law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, and GDPR (EU) 2016/679.

 

Personal data retention

Users’ personal data shall only be retained for the period necessary for these purposes. Once the retention period has expired, the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” shall destroy users’ personal data subject to the applicable provisions relating to storage.

 

Storage and international transfer

All personal data collected is stored on our servers in the European Union. It may be transferred outside the European Union. In this case, the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” shall make the necessary arrangements with its subcontractors and partners to guarantee the level of personal data protection required by current legislation. 

 

Right of access, opposition, rectification, portability and erasure of personal data

In accordance with article 13 of GDPR (EU) 2016/679, users are notified that they benefit from a right of access, opposition, rectification, limitation, portability and erasure, as well as the right to provide instructions for the management of their personal data after their death (articles 15 and subsequent of GDPR (EU) 2016/679). They may exercise their rights by sending an email to the following address [email protected] subject to supplying proof of their identity by attaching a copy of a valid identification document to their request or by using the email address they provided when they registered with the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs”. 

Users may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority), without prejudice to any other administrative or jurisdictional appeal pursuant to article 77 of the GDPR.

If users seek to oppose the processing of their personal data, they may be invited to close their personal space (if it proves impossible for the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” to provide them with the related services without the processing operation in question).

As such, the software, packages, interfaces, databases, know-how, data, texts, articles, newsletters, press releases, presentations, brochures, illustrations, photographs, computer programmes, animation and any other information (hereafter the “Content”) presented to users by the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” are the exclusive intellectual property of the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

These terms & conditions do not give users any right of ownership over the services and any of their component parts which are and remain the exclusive property of the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs”.

Consequently, users are prohibited from any action or behaviour likely to directly or indirectly harm the intellectual property rights of the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” and assure the non-profit organisation “La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs” of this.
