This year the Bailliage held its annual Chapitre at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa.

Guest of honour at the gala event was Inducting Officer Mohamed Hammam, Member of the Conseil d’Administration from Turkey, who inducted 27 new members and promoted nine others.

Our Bailliage is honoured to have nine Ambassadors among its new members, all of whom received the Chaîne regalia appropriate to their grade of Chevalier d'Honneur.

The theme of the night was “British”.

Flanking the entrance to the ballroom were two guards dressed in the traditional uniforms. They made our entry into the picturesque ballroom very grand, a room which was lavishly decorated with beautiful images of prominent British landmarks.

The dinner reflected the best of British cuisine in six courses.

Our evening was a veritable journey of British delights, attractively and artistically presented, merging taste, flavours and colours of the season, accompanied by a live musical performance.

All in all it was a successful induction and elegant gala event celebrating Chaîne values.
