For our annual summer luncheon we were delighted to return to Trader Vic’s at the Beach Rotana Hotel.

Chef Jimmy Sek and the Trader Vic’s team never fail to delight us with their innovative approach and impeccable service.

We were welcomed with traditional Trader Vic’s cocktails. This year it was a choice of Mai Tai or Bloody Mary. There was also German ‘Früh Kölsch’ beer from Cologne donated by member Willi Diener.

Chef Jimmy introduced his menu and our Échanson Sandeep Sathees described the wines he had chosen.

To celebrate the Beach Rotana Hotel’s 25th anniversary, we ended the lunch with a digéstif of 25-year old Chivas Regal.

Concluding the afternoon, Chargé de Missions Wolfgang Johansson gave the much deserved appreciation to the assembled kitchen and service brigades and we already started looking forward to next year’s event.
