Our exclusive concept dinner “Under the Stars with Game Tastes” took place at the Swissôtel Büyük Efes Izmir.

The hotel’s roof top Restaurant Equinox, one of the best fine dining establishments in the city, welcomed 67 members and guests.

A special menu was created by Executive Chef Sedat Bugday and his talented team. The stunning view of Izmir Bay and the city’s lights accompanied this exclusive event as did the live music of the Yavuz Daridere Jazz Trio.

Bailli Bülent Akgerman and Vice-Chancelier/Argentier Riza Elibol made the opening speeches and invited guests to enjoy the special “Gala” dinner after the welcome cocktail in the Sky Bar.

During the reception Doluca Sarafin Roze 2017 was accompanied by glorious canapés:
- Bosniac pastrami with sweet relish dip sauce
- salmon tapas with garlicky sour cream and guacamole
- crispy tripe with wild berry sauce
- Asian-style duck à l’orange with kumquat jam.

Executive Chef Bugday’s menu was called “Under the Star with Game Tastes”. He created seven courses featuring game tastes and star-themed plates with perfectly-paired wines. The service was orchestrated by Korhan Tanzer.

The menu was accompanied by spectacular wines from Doluca with a great presentation of each one being made by Doluca’s Marketing Manager, Ebru Günaçan.
